The Antigua Charter Show never fails to to deliver the “WOW” factor when it comes to attracting the luxury charter yachts, from 50ft to 200 plus feet, they spanned the docks from Nelsons Dockyard, Falmouth Harbour and the Antigua Yacht Club. ALL the boats are beautiful, with gleaming hulls and luxurious interior designs, that after three or four days they pretty much start to blur. However, some yachts and their crews do stand out, whether it is their attention to detail while you are onboard or a wild and zany Yacht Hop, you always walk away with a few yachts imprinted on the mind.
One such yacht that I remember is the award winning 168ft motor yacht Lazy Z. It wasn't for the beautiful staterooms or the cinema, the fully equipped gym or jacuzzi is was for the “boys in pink” strolling up and down the dock at the Antigua Yacht Club. Two crew members from the yacht were dressed in a full body pink unitard. The lazy Z's themed evening yacht hop was Pink for cancer awareness where they raised over $2000 for the charity which earned them the winners of that nights Yacht Hop. Not only were the crew good sports about dressing in pink tutus but the chef was also award winning with a 1st place win with CARIBBEAN BEAN COFFEE ROASTERS – Best use of the Coffee Bean and 3rd place in the HEALTHY DINNER CHALLENGE:
Lazy Z has a fun and energetic crew and loaded with water sports just waiting to be used this Winter in the Caribbean… They even boast to having the first inflatable water slide for charter yachts.
Caribbean rates start at $239,000.00 plus expenses
