Best Catamarans In The BVI

We have just finished up with the BVI Charter Yacht Society 31st Annual Boat Show. As the premier show in the Virgin Islands, this year, the BVI Charter Yacht Show was bigger and better with a new venue at Nanny Cay Marina. With over 70 boats

showing – catamarans, monohulls and 2 power boats – it is a great sign of the fantastic season ahead for the Caribbean crewed yacht industry. Two catamarans received the accolade as Best Catamarans in the BVI for 0ver 55ft and under 55ft – TIGER LILY and GYPSY PRINCESS respectively.

SY TIGER LILY This super-fast 2009 Gunboat 66 just came out of the Newport Shipyard this summer, having an extensive refit, to suit the new owners taste and style from new hatches to upholstery and lighting all is new. These amazing catamarans are famous for their speed and style and if you are adrenaline junkie – Tiger Lily is the cat to satisfy your need for speed. She has plenty of water toys as well – 15’ center console tender with 90HP outboard, water skis, wakeboards, tube, windsurfer to kayak. She sleeps 6 in style and comfort, has a spacious aft cockpit, forward cockpit as well as enormous trampolines for relaxing.

Tiger Lily is will be available for charter in Winter 2012/2013 in the Virgin Islands, Leeward and Windward Islands.

SY GYPSY PRINCESS is a beautiful 2012 45ft Lagoon. She is so spacious and elegant you would think that you are on a much larger catamaran. Designed by the owner who has chartered many yachts in her lifetime, you can be sure that the attention to detail is there. Lots of room to spread out from the cockpit to the fly-bridge to the forward cockpit and on the trampolines. She is the perfect yacht for 6 guests with 3 queen en-suite staterooms. The lovely and enthusiastic multi-lingual crew work hard to make sure that every charter is perfect.

Gypsy Princess is will be available for charter in Winter 2012/2013 in the Virgin Islands, Leeward and Windward Islands.
