With a strong connection to the ocean, he has always been drawn to nautical activities, including sailing, offshore cruising, sport fishing, and discovering new coastal destinations. His goal is to share that passion with every guest by combining safety, comfort, and a relaxed yet highly professional atmosphere.
Juan´s priority is to ensure that every trip feels smooth, enjoyable, and personalized, allowing guests to fully relax and enjoy their time on the water with complete confidence.
Maricel Aguilar
Maricel, an adventurous Argentine and seasoned world traveler, brings eight years of experience in the yachting industry, paired with a lifelong passion for the sea. Her love for the ocean is matched by her enthusiasm for water sports, including surfing, kitesurfing, and diving, which add a dynamic and energetic touch to her maritime expertise.
In addition to her time on the water, Maricel’s extensive background in the hospitality industry spans multiple countries, including Argentina, Brazil, Andorra, and Ireland. Her global adventures have taken her to destinations like Thailand, the Philippines, Italy, and France, inspiring her to blend diverse culinary influences into her cooking. Yet, she always stays true to the Mediterranean flavors that define the region where she established her yachting career.
On board, Maricel combines her love for the sea, her culinary creativity, and her unwavering commitment to guest satisfaction. Her goal is to craft unforgettable moments for every guest, delivering a unique and personalized charter experience where relaxation and enjoyment take center stage.
Diego Fiappi
Diego is a dedicated deckhand with a deep-rooted passion for the sea and strong experience in a variety of water sports. He actively enjoys swimming, windsurfing, and kayaking - pursuits that not only deepen his connection to the marine environment but also help him maintain peak physical fitness. His commitment to life at sea is reflected in a professional approach defined by enthusiasm, reliability, and a consistent focus on providing exceptional service on board.

Booked the MIO Barco for a week in June. We found the boat to be a good size for our family of 5 and in excellent condition. Guillermo and Maricel, the crew on board were absolutely amazing. Guillermo, as captain, was extremely accommodating to our schedule and was always clear to explain the weather conditions and the many options we had available to us. He was genuinely concerned about our comfort and safety. Maricel made sure we never waited for anything and usually never had to ask for a thing. She knew what we needed before we did and had it ready. We are a well traveled family who charter boats often and Guillermo and Maricel were absolutely the best crew we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Over all a great experience on MIO BARCO.

Thank you for a wonderful 4 days. Guillermo and Maricel looked after us wonderfully and the boat is still as good as it was five years ago, very well maintained, clean and in very good shape. A great experience that we will repeat in the future.
