How can I put into mere words what has been an over-the-top sailing trip? I have done two previous sailing trips to the BVI, but this one was 300% better than the others. Mike and Lizzy you are the ultimate dream team. Mike's expertise with sailing and acting as tour guide (especially on Anegada!) and Lizzy's five star meals were absolutely fabulous. ° Mike and Lizzy were welcoming and knowledgeable about the islands and history. They made it clear up front if we needed anything or had questions to just ask.

•Was the yacht comfortable, clean and well ventilated? What was your favorite aspect of the yacht?
° The yacht exceeded our expectations. The additional covered space on the top deck was great! It allowed everyone to spread out and added a lot of space to relax.

•Was the food enjoyable and well presented? Did the chef customize the menu to your preferences?
° Lizzy was an amazing chef! She made sure that individual dietary needs were addressed and carefully distributed the dishes so everyone got what they requested.

We had the absolute best week with Mike and Lizzie on the Sandy Cinco.

We met via a zoom call a couple of weeks prior to our trip and knew immediately we were going to enjoy vacationing with them. They wanted to get to know each of us personally.
They are both very organized and take such pride in making sure the Sandy Cinco is in top condition. We immediately felt right at home. The boat is absolutely beautiful and we loved the personal touches like our color coded drink bottles, towels, and snorkel equipment.

Every meal Lizzie prepared for us looked amazing and tasted even better. It was so nice not to ever think about a meal, but they just appeared and we enjoyed them with our family on the back of this beautiful boat.

Mike made sure our days were filled with a variety of things from sailing, to exploring, to snorkeling, to bar hoping or just relaxing! Everyday was different and so much fun. They both went over and above to make sure all 6 of us were happy at all times. We did a lot, but felt like we had lots of time to just relax as well. Perfect combination for our family!

This will be a week that we will never forget and will treasure forever!

Lizzy was/is warm, friendly and very hospitable. Her selection of meals and cooking were outstanding (we knew this from our last charter). She especially went out of her way with Brandon as he got interested in helping with the anchors and lines. She also was great at trying to satisfy the boys (Tyler – 7 and Brandon – 5) with food that they would eat. Tyler is very difficult and Lizzy always kept a smile on. Lizzy is a very pleasant person to be around and always trying to please.
Mike is a confident, competent and professional captain – just what you want on a charter. His take charge personality was especially evident when my son-in-law got injured and Mike made sure he got the care he needed. Mike was always checking to be sure we were doing/going where we wanted to go. If a change was necessary, Mike would discuss and offer options as well as his opinion. As a former, many time bare boat charterer, having Mike take care of everything made the trip so much more enjoyable. I will admit that Mike can be a little grumpy in the morning before he has had his coffee but I suspect I am as well. Despite, sometimes being stern with the boys (when required), Mike was wonderful a couple of times getting Tyler out of a funk and getting him to enjoy himself (as stated earlier – Tyler can be a challenge).
They both became part of the family but were never intrusive and made the trip most enjoyable.

Thank you for the most wonderful week of Spring Break. This was the third trip with Mike and Lizzy and the most memorable yet! The slide show at the Bills Bar ‘Tipsy’ on Anegada will live on forever! I’ll miss you desperately!! CC

The most magical few days. From snorkeling in calm, amazingly blue waters to climbing over rocks and through caves at The Baths, Mike and Lizzy are the best hosts. Lizzy’s food was beautifully presented and tasted even better. Mike stories and directions were spot on! Even the rain did not dampen our trip. Thanks for a lovely holiday! TS

A once in a lifetime trip! Everything about the trip was amazing! The food was spectacular: every single meal was new and so delicious. I ate too much because I couldn't stop eating the food Lizzy prepared. Mike did a spot-on job of keeping us away from crowds, finding the best snorkeling spots and setting us up for stunning sunsets. We were welcomed aboard by the happy, smiling faces of Captain Mike and Chef Lizzy – just their normal, everyday nature! It’s glorious! Star gazing, Mabel tours, remote search and rescue, secret baby turtle spotting, baby goats, beach walks, bar pops, delicious lobster and even more delicious Lizzy creations, sun rashes, sea scooters, Tarpons, high seas, mangrove canoeing, snorkelling galore through rough currents and sprinkles, spilling all of our drinks, and feeling so loved and cared for the entire trip by the best crew we could have hoped for! I wanted to bring my family to the BVI because I had such a great experience sailing around the islands in 1993 when I was in 8th grade. You've given us more than a family trip. This will be a trip that ignites A lifelong love of exploring and travelling for all of us. I pray that it is also just the beginning of many new foods for the children!
