Josh is an enthusiastic and confident professional with the ability to stay calm and focused when under pressure. He is able to effectively demonstrate leadership and communication skills, with a natural ability to build professional relationships and quickly become a vital team member. Josh is a passionate and determined yachtsman with over 105,000 nautical miles logged. Throughout his sailing career, he has often sailed with owners/guests/clients onboard in all different capacities including instructing, corporate days, charters, and working with owners. At all times, his focus is not only on safety but on also giving the owner/guest an unforgettable and unique experience.
Job description
Josh is responsible for navigation, safety, the overall running and financial management of the vessel, crew, and guests. He always ensures the safe and efficient operation of the yacht, including compliance with all safety procedures and regulations. He takes care of adhering to flag regulations, port state and local laws and regulations, and manages the crew to ensure adherence to, and a full understanding of, the vessel’s policies. He provides daily leadership for the crew and encourages teamwork, individual growth, and personal attention by delegating duties and supervising all crew tasks.

Julia has been working as CHAMPAGNE HIPPY’s stewardess for almost a year now and thoroughly enjoys her diverse and dynamic roles on board. She grew up in Poland and has since worked in Greece and Spain, and underwent a portion of her yacht training in Croatia. Julia is adaptable, thrives in different environments, and has become multilingual thanks to her life experience in different regions of Europe. She's exceptionally sociable and delightful to be in the company of, all while maintaining a professional demeanour and consistently prioritising the comfort of her guests.
Job description
Julia is responsible for organization, management, and cleanliness of all interiors. She maintains an accurate inventory of all service items and supplies. She ensures cleaning and preparation of the vessel to the highest standards prior to all guest trips. In charge of vessel provisioning for both guests and crew, and all aspects of daily life. When guests are onboard, she ensures they are properly cared for and that all their requirements are met. She offers a particular attention to details and a polite and entertaining spirit.

Chef: Giverny Sanders (British)
Sail and work experience
Giverny is a motivated, self-starting individual with a passion for travelling and yachting. For many years she worked in the hospitality and service industries where she grew her love for providing unforgettable experiences for others. Throughout this time, the roles she undertook ranged from front of house work, waitressing, bar work, and being a kitchen hand. Giverny is people-oriented and able to build strong relationships quickly with a variety of people, regardless of culture or age. For some time, she worked as a private live in au pair for a family in Australia, providing child care, maintaining the house, and frequently cooking for 6-8 people at a time. Thanks to working in media over the last few years, she has gained strong organisational, teamwork, and leadership skills.
Job description
As the Chef, Giverny is responsible for the crew and guest meals throughout the charter, ensuring that the food is enjoyable, the interior of the yacht is clean and serviceable and that all dietary requirements are met. She is a creative cook, varying her meals to provide variety and according to the location of CHAMPAGNE HIPPY, to have as much relevance as possible to the country being visited.
