Looking for a unique holiday or perhaps an out of the way destination? Why not be the first of your friends to discover the San Blas Islands or Bocas del Toro – located off the coast of Panama in the Caribbean sea. The San Blas is an archipelago of about 365 islands off the southeast coast of Panama. This is an autonomous region administered by the indigenous Kuna Indians. They have kept the islands undeveloped and free from commercialism leaving them as pristine as they were many years ago. Bocos del Toro is home to Panamas first National Marine Park and a huge tourist destination for Panama. This group of islands is considered to be one of the most biologically diverse places on earth.

A great way to discover the San Blas Islands is by private yacht. The catamaran Pearl is returning there this Summer and Winter and available for charters. The Pearl is fitted with state of the art electronics to insure the safety of the vessel and the comfort of the passengers specifically in remote locations. She can accommodate 6 guests comfortably in 3 queen en-suite staterooms with plenty of storage and AC.

Captain Tomas and First Mate/Chef Sara became enamored with area last year year and had this to say about this amazing destination:

“Bocas del Toro captivates its visitors because of its amazing vegetation, biodiversity, and ancient customs. It is a unique place to spend a holiday – fauna only found in this part of the world, opportunities for diving, snorkeling, paddle boarding, kayaking the unbeatable Caribbean ocean. Seven islands comprise the land area, with Bocas Town as the capital and “big city” for shopping, taste local cuisine or just take a walk off the boat.

If your guests are more interested in a very unique and remote destination to spend their vacation, we highly recommend the San Blas islands, the land of the Kuna Yala Indians who still live by their traditions. There are no bars, nor supermarkets or shopping malls just unspoiled nature, white sandy beaches, crystal clear water and indigenous friendly people – feels like traveling back in time! The Kuna’s often visit us in their man made canoes bringing fresh fish, lobster, crabs and their traditional hand-made arts the “mola”.
The only way to move around is by boat – so we offer our luxury catamaran Pearl and our local knowledge to provide the best service and introduce the Kunas special culture to our clients.”

Rates start at $19,000 for 2 guests and up to $26,000 for 6 guests.
