You have heard the saying, “He with the most toys wins”. Well, some charter yacht captains/owners take this to heart and constantly are adding to their on-board collections. Forget swinging in the hammock- Get Active…inflatable rafts with built in mp3 players, human hamster balls, water skiis, knee boards, kayaks and one of the most popular nowadays, SUP boards, are common on most charter yachts.
The mega yachts even have more amazing toys such as gigantic water-slides that send guests shooting down into the sea from their top decks or how about a motorized scurf board. If you want to spend a few extra bucks you can even have your own personal submarine loaded on to your yacht.
If you are diver, many yachts do offer diving. There are various arrangements on offer – some yachts have a Dive Master on board which enables them to take certified divers down while others offer a Dive instructor as part of the crew. For the yachts that are serious about diving they will have a dive compressor on-board and equipment. Many destinations do have an array of shore based dive operations so that you can always have your crew arrange a Rendezvous Dive with their local company.
After a busy day with the “toys” you can enjoy a relaxing soak in your jacuzzi tub or massage from the ships therapist.
So when you are looking at yachts for your sailing holiday, do not forget to inquire about the toys!
