Just back from the Antigua Charter Yacht Show and many yachts stood out, not only for the yacht itself but for the crew. ILLUSION V, a 2014 Benetti power boat was one of them. At 190ft this yacht impressed us with its beautiful American Walnut interior with white accents and plush furnishings designed by Green and Mingarelli. The use of luxury leather, silk and wood textures with three dimensional motifs creates an elegant feel inside and out. The crew were attentive and seem to really love the charter program that Illusion V offers. In fact, it was the Chief Engineer that gave us a tour of the boat. He knew as much about the interior cabins as he did his engine room and pointed out unique features with great pride.
Illusion V accommodates 12 guests in a full width master suite with study, a full width VIP stateroom, 1 double cabin and 3 twin cabins. This is a perfect layout for families especially with a crew of 13 to look after every need.
With 4 decks to spread out, including a sundeck with a full bar, BBQ and Jacuzzi, even a large family group will find private spaces to enjoy. Spacious sun-pads for sunbathing or stargazing plus a covered private dining area are available on the sun deck and are furnished with the same style of luxury furnishings found in the interior. The bridge deck also has a cinema room, a perfect place to catch the game after a day playing with the numerous water toys.
At the stern of the boat you will find a beach deck with easy access in and out of the water to enjoy all the water sports or perhaps sipping a cocktail at the full service bar.
