My first time to South Beach (or SoBe) everyone said that you must check out Nikki Beach – an elite restaurant, beach club and nightclub. Now I have been to St Barths, a chic and sophisticated scene, where Nikki Beach is the party playground for the VIP crowd and I would have to say that, as in all over St Barths, the worlds best looking people flock here. Does the hype live up to the expectation? You have to be the judge. The South Beach location seems to attract the tourists looking for that “Miami Vibe” or pretentious 20 something’s all trying to impress one another.

Nikki Beach is an international chain with clubs in different parts of the world -Thailand, Mallorca, St Tropez, Cabo San Lucas, Marrakech- well you get the idea, hottest addresses and trendsetting locales worldwide for the “in” party crowd. Nikki beach, St. Tropez, a Mediterranean town which epitomizes the rich and famous with expensive cars cruising the streets and luxury mega yachts dotting the harbor, attracts the jet set and younger crowd and when the champagne starts flowing anything goes.

St Barths

Depending on the day/time service is generally good and food is worthy. Price is what you would expect. Drinks however, are pricey so be sure to have plenty of cash or your credit card handy.

Nikki Beach’s newest location, on the island of Mallorca, is a fast growing tourist destination and is favored amongst the yachties sailing the Balearics. As with Miami and St Barths there will be no shortage of luxury yacht sightings. Some of the better known marinas are Club de Mar and Real Club Nautico both in Palma.

One thing that you will find common in all of Nikki Beach locations is the “anything goes” mentality. Saturdays and Sundays bring out the party crowd, as resident DJ’s spin the best and latest in international house and dance music.
