Alain is an experienced captain who has worked in the yachting industry since 2013 as captain, mainly on private yachts from 77 to 134 feet both on sailing and motor yachts (S/Y HELISARA, M/Y MAHY, M/Y OVERSIDE II, M/Y DARYA, M/Y KUMBA IV, M/Y OCEAN EMERALD) with up to 6 crew members.
Along his career, Alain also developed a strong technical expertise in addition to his cruising knowledge all over the Mediterranean Sea, Red Sea and the Caribbean.
Meticulous and organized, he enjoys keeping the yachts he is in charge of at a very high level to ensure a safe, welcoming and stress-free environment for the guests. Always looking to details in order to present a spotless yacht, both aesthetically and technically, guests on board will be in good hands with Alain.
When Alain is not on board, he likes practising motors sports.
CHEF: Edward Taylor
Zimbabwean, 21 years old

With a dynamic and versatile background in both the culinary and beverage industries, Edward held the position of Crew Cook aboard the 77m MANEL EL NOCTE in 2024, cruising along the South African coast. This followed previous experience as a Chef and Junior Sommelier in both land-based and marine environments.
In 2024, he completed a Chef Apprenticeship at Stir Crazy Culinary Academy, where he not only gained hands-on culinary experience but also contributed to the training and development of fellow superyacht chefs, sharpening both his technical skills and leadership abilities.
In addition to his culinary expertise, Edward worked in vineyards in Australia producing Chardonnays and Cabernet Sauvignons. This experience deepened his knowledge of wine and enabled him to offer a complementary pairing approach, skillfully aligning wines with guests’ meals.
Drawing on his extensive experience in international cuisine, Edward also worked as a private chef, preparing bespoke dinners for 8 to 16 guests. These meals typically featured four- to seven-course menus tailored to seasonal ingredients and individual preferences.
He developed a deep love for Southeast Asian cuisine during his time living in Thailand, where he worked in a rustic Thai restaurant. Tom Kha Gai soup is his signature dish, prized for its rich blend of coconut, herbs, and mild heat.
During his time off, Edward enjoys boxing, hiking, cooking, water sports, and volunteering for philanthropic organizations.
ENGINEER: Slobodan Bobby Marinkovic
Serbian, 52 years old

Bobby began his career in the yachting industry in 2007, working aboard M/Y PRIMAVERA (80’), PRIMAVERA II (78’), PRIMAVERA III (80’) and more recently M/Y BEYOND CAPRICORN (78’). Over the years, he has taken on various roles including engineer, deckhand and chase boat captain.
Known for his reliability, discretion, and hands-on expertise, he demonstrates exceptional longevity and commitment, with a proactive mindset and calm demeanor under pressure.
His journey has taken him across 15 years of yachting experience in Japan, where he developed a deep understanding of both the technical and operational sides of the industry.

CHIEF STEWARDESS: Lynne-Marie VAN AS
South African, 37 years old

Lynne-Marie joined the yachting industry in 2022. She progressed through various roles including Sole Stew, Second Stew, Lead Housekeeping Stew, ultimately becoming Chief Stew.
Her vibrant energy, approachable nature, and strong work ethic have enabled her to rapidly progress through the ranks. She is deeply committed to her role, always striving to exceed guest expectations. Driven by a true passion for her work, she consistently delivers exceptional service and takes great pride in every aspect of her responsibilities.
Whether it’s organizing special events, coordinating with the chef for tailored dining experiences, Lynne-Marie ensures that every detail of guests stay on board is seamless, comfortable, and unforgettable.
When she is not on board, she likes cooking, traveling and practicing extreme sports.
First Officer: David KLAASSEN
Dutch, 30 years old

With extensive experience in the yachting industry, David is a highly skilled professional specialized in deck duties and yacht management. He has worked on various vessels, including luxury yachts and tenders, and is proficient in the technical and operational aspects required to maintain yachts, ensuring guest satisfaction and the smooth running of daily operations.
Recently, David worked on the MY Lady Marina (64M), where he handled deck duties, watchkeeping, and maintenance during a dry dock period in La Ciotat. He also served as Captain for Wajer Yachts in Puerto Portals, overseeing tender management and guest safety.
With a strong focus on safety, maintenance, and leadership, he is prepared to take on the responsibilities of a First Officer, offering an exceptional skill set, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
David is capable of stepping into any role on deck, from assisting with sail handling to managing more technical aspects of yacht operations, all while maintaining the highest level of professionalism.
David value working with individuals from various backgrounds who are equally motivated and goal-oriented.
2nd STEWARDESS: Anna HUNTER
Scottish, 24 years old

With a strong background in hospitality and a genuine passion for providing exceptional service, Anna brings warmth, professionalism, and versatility to any interior team. Over the past several years, she has worked in luxury hotels, high-end restaurants, boutique travel operations, and a five-star spa—developing a keen eye for detail and a natural flair for anticipating guest needs.
She is confident in both housekeeping and service roles and loves creating memorable guest moments—whether that’s through a beautifully made cocktail, flawless cabin presentation, or thoughtful personal touches.
Known for her positive energy, calm under pressure, and team-player mindset, she will be a good support for the Chief Stew, and contribute to a smooth and happy interior. She finds joy in getting to know how guests like their drinks and what treats they enjoy at different moments.
When she is not on board, she likes reading as well as enjoying horse riding, surfing, swimming and travelling.
