Etienne was born in Malta and has been sailing since 2003 on a range of vessels from 15-36m. He is extremely well-qualified, holding a Yachtmaster Offshore licence among all other necessary accreditation, so guests are always in safe hands. As a local of Malta, he has excellent knowledge of Maltese and Sicilian waters, allowing him to take guests to all the best anchorages and hidden coves throughout their itinerary. Etienne speaks Maltese, English and Italian, so is well positioned to communicate with a range of guests. Passionate about hospitality, he always ensures every charter is outstanding, giving guests the best possible experience and memories to last a lifetime.
Engineer - Ivan Zavialov
Ivan, born and raised in Moscow, serves as Firefly’s Deck Engineer. Over the past five years, he has been a dedicated yacht engineer on superyachts, ensuring the peak performance and maintenance of these luxurious vessels. His passion for sailing and the open sea fuels his commitment to excellence in his work. With a dream to circumnavigate the planet, Ivan combines his technical expertise with an adventurous spirit, striving to make every voyage a seamless and memorable experience
Chef - Giuseppe Gabriel Passaretti
Giuseppe, born on the island of Ischia in the Gulf of Naples, will be your chef on the magnificent Firefly. It was on this beautiful island in the Tyrrhenian Sea that he first acquired his culinary knowledge. Among the lemon and orange groves of his homeland, he learned to enhance the natural products with intoxicating aromas, using everything that the land and sea provide.
Giuseppe's cuisine is typically traditional, deeply rooted in the history of Naples. He draws inspiration from the city's rich culinary heritage, including many seafood recipes. Guests can expect authentic mussel soups in the manner of Ippolito Cavalcanti, an esteemed 18th-century culinary expert, and a variety of pasta dishes enriched with carefully selected seafood or specific fish to enhance each dish. One standout is the magnificent pacchero with scorpion fish and yellow cherry tomatoes.
Beyond seafood, Giuseppe also prepares dishes ranging from the most traditional ragù to the simplest cuts of meat, expertly cooked on the onboard barbecue. He eagerly awaits the opportunity to welcome you aboard the Firefly, where you will embark on two kinds of journeys: the classic one through the waves of the sea and a more intense one through the delicious dishes he will prepare for you.

With 12 years of experience in hospitality, Elle is now embarking on an exciting new journey in yachting as a stewardess. Passionate about travel, music, and meeting new people, she is dedicated to providing guests with the best possible experience, full of adventure and a fun outlook on travel. She looks forward to welcoming you on board Firefly.
