The BVI are considered by some as the yachting capital of the Caribbean if not the world, and getting into that lifestyle—sunning, swimming, snorkeling, sailing, beach-hopping, and always dropping anchor in time for happy hour—is what the islands are all about. The islands, except for Anegada and a few dollop-sized cays, are volcanic and hilly, which means that the land is great for dramatic sea views. Activity wise, the concentration is on sailing above, diving below and floating on the clear blue water.
