Find the Virgin Islands Vacation Perfect for You
Visiting the US and British Virgin Islands means direct flights from a number of major US airport hubs and easy private jetport options.
The Virgin Islands has the largest number of charter yachts to choose from in both size and style. Inclusive pricing and the best values compared to any other location make the VIs the most popular charter destination.
The 35 mile island chain of US and British Virgin Islands has options — from busy harbors to quiet out of the way spots but always with clear blue Caribbean seas.

Tropical Paradise Found!
Tortola, BVI 2020
Begin your charter in St. Thomas with a brief stop in the shopping alleys of Charlotte Amalie or the megayacht marina Yacht Haven Grande (YHG). Set sail for nearby Christmas Cove, have homemade pizza from the Pizza Pi boat, or sail straight for St. John with 60% National Park and 20% unique laid-back artist’s enclave and the rest is all fun! Clear US Customs and Immigration and head over to the BVI at West End, Tortola or onto Jost Van Dyke. Jost is a must with White Bay, home to the Soggy Dollar Bar (because you must swim ashore) or the famous Foxy’s in Great Habour.
Leave your watch and phone in your cabin for your swim ashore only to realize three days later you never even thought to pull them out again! Chartering a BVI yacht gives you the freedom to forget the stresses of modern life.
Bagheera is a big spacious beauty of a cat. 4 queen cabins make this a perfect fit for either a group of 8 adults or a family. The crew of 3 believe in having fun and in the motto “he who has the most toys” wins. It is a registered fishing vessel but also has a whole host of other equipment for a fun-filled charter.
Explore the Stunning Virgin Islands
Travelers diverge as they make their choices – there is no set itinerary. Depending on where you start and whether the tradewinds are slightly north of east or slightly south, you could start with the southern route heading to the outer islands of Norman, Peter, Cooper, or Salt. If you sail up the north shore you may choose Cane Garden Bay, Sandy Spit, or Camenoe. Still to explore are Trellis Bay, Virgin Gorda, and onto Anegada. With more than 60 small islands and bays, you may return again and again to visit old favorites and explore new hideaways.
Luar, a majestic Privilege 615 cat, has three cabins, each with an ensuite bath to define comfort afloat. Attention to detail and elegant woodwork are the hallmark of this yacht. The Luar is child-friendly with her relaxed American crew, Rich and Lisa who have more than ten years’ chartering experience. Captain and Chef Rich owned Cassarino’s ristorante for 20 years which was consistently voted “Best Italian Restaurant in Providence”, Rhode Island. They look forward to welcoming you on board!
A Distinctive Destination – Yacht Charter BVI
Islands strung like a necklace curve over 35 miles from St. Thomas, USVI in the west into the British Virgin Islands ending at Anegada. The eastern tip of the British Virgin Islands join the Atlantic Ocean to the north and the Caribbean Sea to the south. Nature’s bounty has gifted the Virgin Islands with islands to shelter the sailor from large ocean swells and provide numerous options for calm harbors, white sand beaches and reefs that can be easily spotted in the bright tropical sun.
Start from Beef Island Airport in the heart of the island chain or fly into Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas – the busiest town in these islands. As you sail through the islands enjoy the quieter spots of Cruz Bay St. John or Spanish Town Virgin Gorda each with their own appeal. Local beach bars with sand on the floor and music playing create memories of a ‘jump up’ – laughter filled, barefoot dancing with friends are the mainstay of the outer islands.
Paddle boarding, snorkeling, or scuba diving are all part of experiencing the underwater life of the Virgins. Perfect for sailing, never out of sight of land with your next stop just a short distance away, the Virgins define easy living.
