Indulgence of Poole’s Itinerary for the South of France
Day 1
Arrive in Cannes and board M/Y Indulgence of Poole. The transfer from Nice airport to the port is approximately 30 minutes. After a short introduction, leave the port and cruise to the beautiful St. Jean Cap Ferrat anchoring en route at Villefranche for a late lunch and time to enjoy an afternoon swim. Continue cruising toward St Jean Cap Ferrat where you can take the tender ashore and enjoy a pleasant early evening stroll, browsing some of the quaint yet exclusive shops. Afterwards return to the yacht for a candlelit dinner.
Day 2
Breakfast is set for a time that suits you. Afterwards we leave to explore this beautiful, breathtaking coastline, sail beneath the towering cliffs of Eze, anchoring for lunch en route. The afternoon sees us continue to Monaco where you can enjoy dinner on board before spending the evening in this fabulous city, exploring the Grand Prix circuit or the famous Monte Carlo Casino.
Day 3
After breakfast, we have a longer sail from Monaco to Juan les Pins, pausing for lunch and an afternoon of swimming or water sports. The crew will also be happy to take those that wish, to the beautiful Isles de Lerins nature reserve. The prison where the legendary ‘Man in the Iron Mask’ was held is located on one of the islands; the other is home to a monastery where the monks are renowned for their lavender liqueur. Enjoy a relaxed dinner on board and after an evening stroll around Juan les Pins.
Day 4
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before setting off along the coast, admiring the dramatic red rocks of the Esterel, pausing for lunch in the Bay of Agay. During the afternoon the yacht will cruise into St Tropez where we will enter the port in the evening. A sumptuous alfresco dinner will be served on the aft deck overlooking the old town. After dinner, enjoy the St Tropez nightlife or explore the town.
Day 5 & 6
Following breakfast depart for the island of Port Cros on the stunning Islands of Porquerolles, pausing for lunch in one of the idyllic bays en route. The Porquerolles Islands are reminiscent of Corsica and the Caribbean with beautiful landscapes and clear turquoise waters. These traffic free islands have bountiful wildlife and quaint French villages with classic bars and bistros. There is plenty to see in this beautiful wildlife reserve so spend a couple of days exploring the land and coastline.
Day 7
An exciting day follows breakfast, sailing around the Porquerolles, swimming, sunbathing and exploring the beaches. There is also the opportunity to hire bicycles from the village centre should you wish to explore on land and meet the yacht later in the day.
Day 8
This morning we set sail slowly to return to the mainland, disembarking in Cannes where airport transfers will be arranged to compliment your flight times.
