TAKAPUNA is a striking boat when you see her at anchor in the beautiful Caribbean waters. Designed and built by Cantiere Valdettaro in Italy, this magnificent 112 foot yacht has a sophisticated exterior design, luxurious interior design and a very interesting history. Sailors may recognize her lines as she is the sister-ship to the well known Titan XIV who also offers luxury yacht charters in the Caribbean.

TAKAPUNA was once the private yacht of actress/comedian Pamela Stephenson wife of Scottish comedian Billy Connolly. Pamela took the Takapuna on a South Seas odyssey while filming the four-part Australian TV series, “Murder or Mutiny”, a voyage to discover the fate of one of her ancestors, a British sailing captain (Samuel “Salty Sam” Stephenson) who disappeared in the South Seas in 1821. This adventure had many twists and amusing turns.

TAKAPUNA offers accommodations for up to 8 guests. She carries a crew of five to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience. The master stateroom offers his and hers baths as well as private sitting area. She has three additional queen staterooms each with a private en suite head, these queen berths can be separated into twins if so desired. The main salon has a richly upholstered leather conversational area and dinner seating for ten. Outside she has expansive natural teak decks, numerous conversation areas and covered and uncovered lounging areas. She has a fabulous cocktail seating area as well as alfresco dining areas with 360 degree views of the water. Her magnificently designed stern area offers easy access to their 16′ tender as well as providing a perfect platform for swimming and scuba diving.
